What's This?

Can it be?

Knitting content!

I've been plugging my little heart out on Eris and have finally finished up the hem today. Pardon the dark, crappy photos. It's the best I can do on a dark, crappy day.

Looks good, no?

Here is a full view shot of Eris.

Just sleeves and a zipper to go. What a relief.

I can't just totally push Inishmore aside. I'd never get it done. The progress is slow, but I figure if I can squeeze in a row or two here and there until Eris is complete, then that's a row or two I won't have to worry about later.

I have been sneaky and been working on some socks because, well, I love to knit them. I'm kinda struggling with myself because it seems to be the only thing I want to knit at the moment. This is the Mermaid sock by Lucy Neatby in her book Cool Socks, Warm Feet.

This is such a great pattern. I love it.

Then there is my poor Feather and Fan shawl...I also put in a row or two here and there. Here it is, all 656 stitches of blob.

Too many projects, too little time.

Keep On Knitting...

Love the bias that is going on in that sock. How's that done? I wonder how you sneak in one or two rows on the Inishmore - whenever I knit cables I have to stay with it or I'll lose track. It - no, all of your projects look lovely!

Any dark and drearyness in your day should be brightened by that sock! Wow, it's bright and funky! I like it. :) Eris and Ishmore are both looking wonderful. And holy cow 656 stitches of shawl?! How on earth do you keep track of it all?

Eris looks fantastic! I love her patterns. Looking forward to her final debut! Irishmore & your socks also look great! You got a lot going on there! :-)

And you say you haven't been knitting due to illness. I can't imagine what you could accomplish had you NOT been ill.

your speed impressing me!

I need to add that sock book to my wishlist. I have always loved that pattern for the self-striping sock yarns (which I have quite a bit of!).

Eris is lovely!! I have the Naturally Sensations wound into balls for my own Eris - I just need to start. You are definitely inspiring me to do it.
Inishmore is gorgeous and your lace "blob" is in such a great colour that nothing else matters. You are seriously improving a drizzly crappy day for me!

Wow..when you say knitting content, you really mean it! Everything looks sooooo good! I know what you mean about only wanting to knit socks...is it this awful weather or what? The mermaid socks look fantastic! Keep plugging away and maybe the sun will come out...soon.

Great color choices for your projects.

I don't think I've ever seen Enis on a blog before. Very nice pattern.

I'm still wanting to knit socks. Your sock looks very cheerful in all the bright colors. Guess I need to get this blanket of mine done so I can start some socks.

Well Michelle, I don't know how you've avoided it until now but consider yourself tagged with the current knitting meme making its way around the blogs. I am looking forward to your answers - the questions are on my blog.
Have fun!
