As Promised...

A pic of me wearing my Marble Cardi.

I look like hell, don't I? I was so tired!

It's a little crinkled because I was wearing it the day before and the day of the pic being taken, but you get the gist of the fit, etc...

I also finished up another pair of socks.

These are nicknamed my "Valerie" socks because Valerie is the one that brought relief to my obsessive search for this Trekking colour without the need to sell my first born. Thanks again Valerie. I love 'em.

Pattern: Basic stockinette with picot cuff and band heel on 72 sts.

Yarn: Trekking XXL #126

Needles: 2.25mm

Now I'm off to begin knitting an earflap hat for hubby using my handspun. This should be an experience...he has a big head.

Later.

Keep On Knitting...

Beautiful sweater!

You look like a happy knitter to me. :)

The sweater and YOU look great. I love the cut of the sweater...but the socks! Reminds me of a cocoanut candy we ate when we were kids. Can't remember the name of it!

Glad to see I am not the only one who married a watermelon-head. Poor hubby gets very few knitted things, a huge head and feet to match, he uses up too much yarn!

I love your Marble Cardi. If I didn't have so many things on the go and waiting in the wings I would cast on for one this minute!

Thanks for the comment on my Culdesac Vest. You were the one who first inspired me to give it a go. I think you would look great in the maroon-ie red I chose. Funny, I'll likely do my next one in a grey handspun. Your first one was grey wasn't it?

Marlene: You're very welcome. My first one was more of a Khaki colour.
I was just browsing the web and saw her newer book, Second Viking Knits Collection where she's made this vest into a cardigan...very appealing. http://tinyurl.com/2ywvhl

Red Sock Mama: Glad to know my husband isn't the only one with a massive noggin. LOL

Thank you Valerie, Samantha, Kimberly, Shannon!
