Knitter On the Edge

Well, it seems as though Canada Post doesn't want me to get my yarn. My Kauni order is being schlepped back to B.C. after having been just a stone's throw away from me. I just hope this all gets sorted out soon. I. AM. NOT. HAPPY.

In other news, I've decided to go ahead and finish the wing portion of my Mystery Stole. I'm not thrilled that it's a wing, but I'm not adverse to it, either. I don't know. I just feel bummed about everything it seems and unmotivated to finish my projects.

Well, I'm off before the thundercloud hovering over my head cracks a lightning bolt out of its arse and zaps me into oblivion.

Edit: I just tracked my order again tonight and my Kauni order is back in my neck of the woods. I'm hoping I actually get it tomorrow and that it doesn't do another round trip back to B.C. like it did on the 10th.

Wow...just wow.

Keep On Knitting...

Grrrr. Feeling your pain. When I know something is coming I obsessively stalk those updates online and pace for the goodies... I cant believe they shipped it back?? what happened???

Minnie: Oh wow, glad to hear you're alright! Tornado warning + freshman orientation = PITA.

This is my first close encounter with Canada Post. I hope it isn't a sign of the future.

Shannon: When I called Canada Post, they admitted that it could have been a glitch in their system giving the same tracking # to mine and another package. I'm just glad they were straightforward with me and reassured me that something would be done about it if I didn't get my package today. But I did, so all is well! LOL

With all honesty, I didn't like the wing part either. Actually, I was stalled on chart e...I think...anyways, one of my fellow Stitch n Bitch girls finished her stole and posted photos on her blog.

It completely changed my mind about the entire project.
