Weather, Wool and Dogs

It was another dreary day today, weather wise. I was going to take a couple of pics of the completed back of the vest and the front that's been started, but I didn't have good lighting and when I use the flash, the pic looks really weird. It'll have to wait until tomorrow sometime...if the weather improves, that is.

I did go ahead and order the Tuffy by Briggs and Little. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the colour, red mix, is close to what I want. If it isn't, I can always send it back...right?

My dog did a quirky thing today. After I did some yard work, I decided to take my daughter out to grab some lunch at the neighbourhood bagel shop. After we got our order, I decided I would take a long route home and take her to the park and let her romp awhile. Well, who comes trotting down the street looking for me, but my dog! I nearly had heart-failure! She didn't have her collar and tags on (I'm afraid she'll get caught on something at home) and she crossed a busy street! I had left her in the yard (which is fenced) but she found a way out. I'm so glad that nothing happened to her! I ended up having to cut our walk short and carry my dog home. The insanity of it all!
