about buying more yarn. What's a girl to do when she is whisked away to Mary Maxim? Plead temporary insanity, of course! I was pretty good and only picked up four balls of Regia sock yarn. Hey, it was on sale and at least I'm fessing up!
All of this because my husband decided this morning to take a drive to Mary Maxim so he could get some doll eyes that he's only been able to find there. He makes these delightful "critters," as I call them, out of small rocks he has collected and sculpey, but he has since started on another brilliant idea, hence the need for doll eyes...and my getting more yarn.
I did manage to finish the baby leggings and cap for my girlfriend last night. I'm glad I have gotten it out of the way and can now concentrate fully on the vest. I was hoping to finish the vest in time for my husbands birthday on the 15th of this month...but, I don't think that will happen now. Perhaps I'll have to stay up late a few nights to achieve this goal...then again, perhaps not.

Michelle, you just weren't thinking were you? You SHOULD have had your husband pay for the yarn together with his "creature eyes" that way YOU did not buy any more yarn......HE did. Sheesh!...do you have a thing or two to learn about stash building while simultaneously keeping one's yarn diet promises.
ROTFLMAO!
I will definately control my delirium next time this happens!
Now what kind of a yarn diet is this!!!! Just Kidding. I love the Regia colors....I have never used that yarn. But, it was on sale and rules were made to be broken :)
Well, I don't know about you, but I've never been one to stick to a diet of any kind...besides, it's a woman's perogative to change her mind! LOL
It is too much temptation, I agree. But, I've noticed that I can get alot of stuff cheaper at my LYS. Noro Kureyon was $12.95 CDN a skein...$9.95 CDN a skein at my LYS. It's a shame...
