Here a pic on the progress I'm making on my Rogue. I'm really loving this pattern and I'm so happy with the colour I've chosen. I just hope I'll be able to say the same about the fit when I'm finished!
Michelle that color is gorgeous! I MUST avoid buying yarn and pattern for the Rogue until I have finished my other WIPs or I'll be done for. I don't have the self-control that you have.
Michelle - Great job on the hat. I love it. Can you take a picture of it on his head so we can see how far down on his head it goes? I think my brother in law would like it...
I'll see how coercive I can be with hubby to get him to pose for a pic.
As for the yarn I'm using, it is "Tuffy" by Briggs & Little, colour is Red mix. It's somewhat rough and has a fair bit of vegetable matter in it, but I'm hoping it'll soften up with a wash. Other than that, I'm very happy with the way it's knitting up.
Hey Marlene, who told you I have self-control? LOL I really don't have much and I have several projects waiting for me in the wings,(I also hoard sock yarn and have enough for about 50 pairs of socks) but I do FORCE myself to only work on one project at a time. How pathetic is that!
Am I the only one who noticed that the cables on the Rogue and the cables on the hat match? I guess maybe you wouldn't wear a hat with a sweater with a hood, but who wears the hood up? If you have leftover yarn, maybe you could make a hat to match the Rogue.
I think alot of people know that the cables on the cap match the cables on the pullover, as I've heard them say they'll knit the cap first to see what it's like before plunging into the pullover. I never thought of wearing the cap with the hooded Rogue...I bought the cap pattern so I could make it for my husband.

Michelle,
The vest is incredible and love the cap too... You are a speedy knitter, aren't you? Great progress on your Rogue.
Thanks!
I don't know if I'm a speedy knitter, but I am pretty consistent in knitting every night for several hours.
