Patience is a Virtue...

Or so they say. I'm so behind in emails, etc...and I apologise if you're waiting for a response from me. You'll get one. Soon.

Now, I must be boring you to death with Inishmore as this is the only project I'm concentrating on. Heck, I'm boring myself. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, though...it's taking for-freaking-ever to get through the bloody tunnel, but the finish line is at least in sight...as is a full eight hours sleep.

Anyway, I completed the front Monday...at least I think it was Monday. I thought today was Friday, so I could be wrong.

Here are the sleeves in progress. I have 7-1/2" of 18-1/2" complete. I always work two sleeves at once. With Inishmore I have to be somewhat more guarded as the centre design is different on each sleeve.

I'm pretty certain that I'll have this done in time for Christmas. Anyone taking any bets? [snort]

To answer a couple of questions from desiknitter.

I'm using Briggs & Little Heritage in Blue Heather for Inishmore. A good hearty wool for a good hearty man.

My Feather & Fan shawl has been set aside temporarily until Inishmore is complete. I'll start plugging away at it again as soon as it is, along with the "coming soon" projects listed in my sidebar. I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to start knitting them!

Thanks to all who've stopped by to compliment Inishmore. It keeps me going...and going.

Keep On Knitting...

Ishmore is fabulous, I'm sure you'll have it done by Christmas! I have faith in you! :)

I had to chuckle though because you said that you thought today is Friday, but the date on your post SAYS that you posted on Friday. *lol*

you know, honey, it WAS friday when you posted. just cuz you hadn't gone to bed yet. . .

inishmore looks lovely. not something i'd tackle for my sweetie, though. as tall as he is, i'd have to add an extra 6 inches to the body, and an extra 3 inches to the arms (ask me how i know, lol), and i don't think i could handle that and all those cables, etc, as well. oy.

You could never bore me with too many pictures of Inishmore...and I would bet the bank (not mine of course, because there's nothing left in after the Rowan sale on Elann today...hehe), that you'll have that lovely sweater done, wrapped, and under the tree by Christmas!

Keep on, keeping on!
