Ohhhh, Baby Baby...

Ohhhh, baby baby.

I finished up my Lotus Blossom shawl. I love it, love it, love it! This was actually finished Tuesday, but my batteries for my camera cacked and yesterday our internet was out, soooooo, I'm posting now.

The pics are crappy because hubby was in a hurry and he took these two shots in 10 seconds. I'm not kidding.

Pattern: Lotus Blossom Shawl from Fiddlesticks Knitting

Designer: Dorothy Siemens

Yarn: Country Silk in Autumn

Needles: 4.50mm

I also have been working on a knitted babe. Egads, the bloody thing was right scary looking before I added the hair. She kinda looks sorta pretty now. Pay no attention to the fact that she only has one leg. She will have her other leg within the hour.

Pattern: Knitted Babes

Designer: Clare Garland

Yarn: KnitPicks Palette [tan for the body and nutmeg for the hair]

Needles: 2.75mm

The dress I actually sewed. Good grief, now I know why I knit. I hate to sew, but sew I did and the dress isn't too bad. I picked up some funky material at Michaels for thirty cents per 18"x22", so I was able to get several different funky designs.

Now I really have to get back to the bleepity-bleep-bleep shawl, A.K.A. Feather & Fan shawl. We're going on a road trip this weekend, so we'll see if I can get some knitting done in the car...if my dog allows it. She likes to sit on my lap and look out the window.

Have yourself a great weekend.

Keep On Knitting...

Your shawl looks fantastic!

I hate sewing too. I also have a dog that won't let me knit in a vehicle because she needs my lap as a viewing platform. Unfortunately for me she doesn't sit....she STANDS and she is no lightweight dog.

Lotus Blossom is gorgeous and I really love the colour!!

The doll is striking. Not cute, but she grows on you as you keep looking because it's hard to look away. lol When Amanda broke one of her Barbies' arm off I told her that it was Amputee Barbie and she was just as much fun to play with.

Your shawl is beautiful!!!

I've been severely neglecting my regular blog reading lately, so I'm late to the party with the compliments. Really, really like that color.

As for that F&F, just bail out now! It'll make you much happier :)
