To start, we had internet connection problems. It seems to have been fixed by exchanging our modem [no thanks to the cable company as we did that ourselves], though it still poops out periodically.
Speaking of pooped, we all are. We were invited to a pool party Saturday [which I had totally forgotten about], then Sunday was our family gathering. This meant a lot of driving and sock knitting.
I did manage to finish the left front of the Culdesac vest on Saturday morning. After I disappointed myself by incorrectly reading the instructions, I stayed up late friday night to reknit. The problem you ask? Well, it seems that I overlooked the [ & ]. Yep, and I just kept right on knitting. La la la la...I couldn't figure out what happened for the longest time. I had 32 stitches left on the needle instead of 25. Hmmmm. As I reread the instructions, I noticed I didn't decrease properly because I neglected the [ & ]. So, if you make this vest, take it from me and mind your [ & ].
I even found some nice buttons for the vest.
In other news, I may be taking a knitting/blogging hiatus so I can plan my itty-bitty wedding. That's right folks, we're going to finally make it legal on September 16. We were supposed to get married last year, but didn't get around to it.
If not a hiatus, then very sporadic posting.
Have a great one and
Keep On Knitting...

Thanks Samantha. I found the buttons at Fabricland. Can you believe it? I think I paid $2.40 for two.
