Itty Bitty Snake

My daughter and I rescued this wee garden snake from my cat this afternoon.

Snakes don't bother me. I actually find them quite relaxing to watch and handle...the none poisonous variety, that is.

and frankly, it's this or the neighbourhood gopher that can munch through my garden in a nano-second.

Besides, anything is better than seeing one of these scurry across your floor. I'll take the snake any day!

Husband Update: He's doing well, though still in the hospital. His white count as of this morning was finally up to 1.7 (it went as low as .1), so hopefully he'll be discharged tomorrow. We'll find out within the next couple of weeks what his prognosis is.

Keep on knitting...

I don't mind snakes either, but my husband is terrified of them. So is the rest of his family.

Glad to hear your husband is doing okay.

Eeek, I hate centipedes more, but according to the article you linked... they arent all bad for the home.. keeping worse things away.

Good to hear your DH has a white cell count that is on the rise. I keep sending those positive vibes your way.
