Deja Vu?

Well, sort of...if I weren't tweaking Mariah a little bit. Since this is the second time around knitting Mariah, I thought I'd add some pockets. I think I may also do something different with the hood...or, perhaps just the neckline.

I have the back completed and the sleeves are about half knitted. It isn't as painful to re-knit Mariah as you all may have thought. It's actually easy going now that I know what to expect from the pattern. I'm hoping to have her completed late next week sometime.

Since I've been busy reknitting Mariah, I haven't attempted the sleeves for Zigzag, yet. I'll get to those and finish up my A Step Above socks after Mariah is complete. Plus, I'll be buying the supplies I need to make the Flower Basket this weekend. I'm really looking forward to making this.

I have also been thinking about what my next project should be...after I finish all of the above, of course. I'm leaning towards these three patterns.

#1 The Heirloom Lace Jacket by White Lies Designs

#2 Culdesac Vest from Knitter's 72 Fall 2003

#3 Rogue [cardiganized]

Just for fun, let's see what you think my next project should be by taking the poll below...

I voted for the jacket-it's beautiful, but then I saw the vest, and oh my, I tried to change my vote. Of course, that didn't work. Is there any way to get that pattern?

If I could have voted a thousand times for the lace jacket I would have! I have been drooling over that lovely, lovely jacket for quite some time now! You must, must, must knit that jacket.

Not that there's any pressure! LOL!

I have been drooling over that jacket for a long time. If only I was quite a bit thinner. It is just gorgeous. Then, I clicked on the vest.... I think that would look great on you too. Alot of help I am...

I LOVE the vest! I wish the pattern was available seperately rather than having to search out an old copy. Although I did look through the other designs in that issue and there might be others I would eventually be interested in knitting.

The jacket is nice but would you get much use out of it? For myself it's rather dressy and the bell sleeves would drive me nuts every time I wore it.

Yeah, I know, I'm too practical!

I like the pockets you put in Mariah this time. I think it will turn out great.

I think the jacket is beautiful but the sleeves would drive me crazy too.
I vote for the vest -- it's such a classy unusual vest and very versitil.
