Just One Of Those Nights...

I hadn't anticipated blogging tonight. My hand is sore, I'm feeling quite snarky and I'm content to just sit, veg and browse the net, while I snarf down my Caramilk Dark chocolate bar and sip a cup of coffee. So, here I sit, innocently surfing along, checking out this 'n that when I came upon these patterns. Now, some of you that read this may actually like these patterns, but I personally think they are, well, not to my taste. Okay, I think they're hideous. There, I said it...happy now?

The first thought that goes through my mind when I see a design not to my liking is what in the world was going on in the designer's life while knitting one of these garments? I've only chosen two to show because that is all I have energy for.

Now, I'm not trying to be humorous, but look at this sweater. This is a nervous breakdown in the making. Manic depressive sweaters are not allowed in my wardrobe or on my person, thank you very much.

I feel really badly for this poor guy...he's even trying to hide behind a tree, but the colours in his sweater are so bright he'd outshine the brightest of neon signs. The poor squirrels and birds probably had to scurry for cover when he entered the park. The poor sod will never live this down if his buddies ever saw him wearing this.

That is all...thank God!

Keep On Knitting...

The danger of wearing a cardigan that looks like that is it makes you highly attractive to a woman who would wear a pullover like THAT! Yuck.

Well, those designs certainly say something don't they. I am truly shocked, and don't know what to say...they seem to do all the speaking themselves. LOL!

I agree, absolutely awful but there seems to be a lot of that going around lately!

The cardigan is that much more hideous because of what he is wearing under it.

Don't you suppose their ugliness is the reason that elann.com is selling them for $1.89 (or about that)? Of course, when I saw them I wondered who would even pay $.01 for them LOL.
