The Good...

My Corset fits. I cannot tell you how thrilled I am about this. I nearly swooned when I sewed the front shut [since I don't have buttons yet] and pulled it on over my head and my voluptuous bodaciousness was contained without any sounds of snapping stitches.

I've also started on a sleeve and have been thinking about what kind of edging to use to keep with the theme. I have something mapped in my head, but I don't know if it will look good. I was going to, "keep it simple, stupid" but, I don't want it too simple looking.

The Bad...

It's a little short, at least for my liking. So, I'm going to undo the bottom lace and lengthen it. Not a big deal, but this leads into my ugly, so don't steal my thunder.

The Ugly...

I'll probably have to find something between 24-26 buttons. Good Lawd, that's alot of buttons that need to match. Wish me luck in finding them tomorrow.

Keep On Knitting...

P.S. For a little fun. Go to Google. Type in idiot. Hit "I'm Feeling Lucky" instead of Search. Giggle.

It's beautiful. I am so happy for you that it fits. And hey, your ugly really isn't that ugly. I'm sure you'll find some buttons that fit. A sewing friend of mine says there's a great little place on Ottawa Street down "the hill" there that has a fantastic assortment of buttons. Ottawa Street is fabric alley though, so I'm sure there are lots of great little places for buttons down there. Have fun!! :)

Beautiful! Have you ever tried polymer clay? You can make lovely customized buttons for cheap. I'd be happy to tell you more if you're interested. If not, I do hope you find buttons you like.
