Anyway, here is a pic of the back of the shrug I promised.
I really like it. Typically, a shrug would be out of the question for my bodaciousness. Since this looks like a shawl from the back, it does alot to alleviate a cut off point and make my arse certain body parts larger than they are.
I also finished my Over the Knee Socks.
Sexy! I love 'em. I do think that I will insert some elastic around the top of the socks to help them stay up better. Other than that, I'm really happy with them. Yumm!
Pattern: Over the Knee Socks from Handknit Holidays by Melanie Falick
Designer: Cindy Taylor
Yarn: 5 balls of Fortissima Socka 6-Ply #2210; Geranium
Needles: 3.50mm
Now, since I have the determination, I'm off to finish my other projects.
Keep On Knitting...

The back of the socks are soo cute, so how long did they take you to knit.
I love the back of the shrug, I'm not one for fringe, but it really fits with the garment.
Hi Rebekah,
I started them after the Knitting Olympics ended, so I guess just under a month to knit.
the shrug looks realy nice! When I saw the pattern I wasn't sure it was for me but now I've seen the finished article.....
Love the socks ;-)
The socks and shrug are both great. Love the sock pattern.
I really like your socks. I've been tempted to make those since I saw them in the HH book.
And I like the shrug too. Yours is much nicer than the picture at elann. Definitely better with longer sleeves. It looks very flattering on you.
I love the shawl/shrug; I see that Julie is also knitting it. It just looks so nice - your socks look great - the colour is fabulous!
The socks are great but that shawl steals the day! It fits you perfectly.
Love the socks but the shrug is just beautiful and from one 'bodaciousness' (I love that word) person to another, very flattering, well done.
Gasp...drool...OMG...those red stockings are sooooo incredible, I may just have to steal them from you in the middle of the night...hehe. Your shrug is amazing, and looks great, very dramatic!
I love your stockings! Gorgeous! I was just drooling over the picture in the book and then I get online and find yours to drool over, too! Great color.
