Ahem, don't answer that.
Now, where was I?
Oh yeah, knitting.
I've been knitting away on my Telemark Ski Sweater and the sleeves to my Marble Cardi.
See!
I'm having one of those, "only two more inches to knit" moments. You know the kind. It's where you knit and knit and knit. Measure. Find you still have two inches left to knit. Knit, knit, knit some more. Measure. Still two more freaking inches left to knit, etc...So a plea to the knitting Gods and Goddesses. Please let the sweater grow...and make that growth lengthwise as opposed to widthwise. I don't want to have to complain to the gauge Wizard about your mischeviousness and get you landed in the pooper. Kapeesh?
I also made a wee phone call this morning about trying out an Ashford Traveller...who wants to bet that I come home with one?
Anyone, anyone?
I didn't think so.
Keep On Knitting...

Have fun with your new wheel. I'm sure you will be buying one sooner or later. Once you TRY it will be very hard not to buy. I've never spun on an Ashford Traveller, but I did learn on an Ashford Traditional. I lent that one to my daughter as I now use my Majacraft Little Gem II exclusively.
You're right, Marlene. It's currently being shipped from your neck of the woods. Beautiful B.C. I'll be a spinning fool in 10 business days. I don't know whether to laugh or cry at taking up yet another obsession.
i have a traveller. you'll love it. and i have to admit that i still haven't watched your videos. smack me
Minnie, you are officially smacked! LOL
Did you use anything to finish your wheel? Wax? Oil? I'm thinking of using some kind of oil finish...the only one I've read and heard good things about is the Watco Danish Oil finish. Highyly unlikely we have it here in Canada, but there should be something similar.
Very nice sweaters!!!
Did you check out the bags on Green Mountain knitting? Ohhhh how I love these knitting bags. You should see it in person.
They're both looking great. Hope you get out of the black hole soon! I haven't tried an Ashford Traveller, but I love my Ashford Traditional.
I love my Traveller. =)
Both sweaters look great!
i dont think it was too fast, but needed better lighting.
All right girl, I will pray to the kniting gods and goddesses to make the last two inches of your sleeves go quicker...but I bet you've already finished them...hehe!
Telemark looks incredible!
